David owned and operated a real estate brokerage for many years in Northern California. While a sailor on San Francisco Bay and during a visit to Mazatlán Mexico, he discovered that sailing and Mexico was an irresistible combination. Determined to follow a dream, he decided to chuck his brokerage life in California, bring a sail boat to that beach town and try his hand at the charter business.

 

Sacrificing home and hearth and 'security' at the altar of a mid-life Mexican dream, he found a vintage ketch, made it ready for the ocean, and cast off.

 

David now lives in Northern California where he is writing and planning more Mexican adventures.
